David Thomas
Dave is the joint owner and Managing Director of Bluegrass. He’s got over 25 years of experience in consultancy and IT. When it comes to Bluegrass his passion is providing the clients with amazing support for their computers. When not working and playing with Twitter he loves to watch his daughter playing hockey and as well as supporting his favourite team, Everton.
Hilary Thomas
Hilary is also joint owner of Bluegrass and fulfils the Finance and Operations Director roles. She’s been with the business since day one and like Dave is driven by the desire to help other businesses. In her spare time she is also manages to teach French, German, Flute and recorders – we’re not to sure how she manages to fit it all in!.
Steve Triner
Steve graduated from the University of Bath with an Electronics & Communications Engineering Degree. He has spent 16 years working in the Telecommunications and IT industries and joined the Bluegrass team in September 2007. Steve is head of our IT & Computer Services team and a Microsoft Certified Professional. Steve is also a Project Management Professional (PMP accredited with the Project Management Institute). Steve is a keen amateur road cyclist and competed in the 2007 Etape du Tour in the Pyrenees.
Tom Lord
Tom joined Bluegrass after Graduating in 2007 from Portsmouth University with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Network Management and Design. Since then he has become qualified as a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator and a Microsoft Small Business Specialist. Outside of work Tom is most likely to be found on his mountain bike!
Chris Thomas
Chris joined us in June 2008 and during that time he has attained his BTEC in Computer Engineering as well as becoming a Microsoft Certified Professional. He doesn’t tell too many people but Chris plays Roller Hockey (which is very similar to Ice Hockey) and over the years has achieved various awards for his netminding exploits. Yes, he was the Goalie! He is also quite a nifty skier as well, which is surprising.
Catriona Harrison
Cat joined Bluegrass in July 2009 after having spent 7 years as a systems engineer with Chartered Developments. Over the years she has gained several Microsoft accreditation's. She spent 15 years in the Navy before deciding to have a career change. Outside of Bluegrass she's qualified as a bouncer which certainly keeps us in check!
Dan Grimes
Dan is our newest member of the engineering team and brings a wealth of knowledge with him that our clients are already benefiting from. He has experience in not only PC and server support but also network installations. You often know that Dan has arrived in the car park 5 minutes before he actually does due to a very loud sound system in his yellow car!
Peter Hartnell
Peter joined Bluegrass on work experience helping Dave on Social Media investigations. In the background he also helps the engineers improve the performance of client PCs with the aim of keeping them going for longer and therefore saving money for the client.
Alice McNeile
Alice has joined as a part-time but valuable member of the team. She is often the voice of Bluegrass when answering the phone and also works on a key data management activity for one of our clients. In January 2010 Alice is going to embark on her travels to visit various exciting places around the world before she heads off to University in September 2010.
